KANO GOV TO SWEAR IN NEW DEPUTY, GARO, ON TUESDAY

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, is set to swear in the new Deputy Governor, Murtala Garo, on Tuesday in a ceremony scheduled to take place at the Government House in Kano.
The development was announced in an official notice issued on Monday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Information, Ibrahim Adam.
According to the notice, the swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Coronation Hall of the Government House and is expected to commence at 11:00 a.m.
The state government described the event as a significant milestone in Kano’s political leadership and called on stakeholders, party loyalists, and residents to attend.
A close associate of the incoming deputy governor, Aminu Dahiru Ahmed, also confirmed the development, stating that preparations had been concluded for the ceremony.
“The governor has already invited stakeholders, party loyalists, and members of the public to attend the ceremony,” he said.
The swearing-in marks a new phase in the administration’s leadership structure, with expectations of strengthened governance in the state.
