Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, on Tuesday made a light-hearted remark directed at Arise Television anchor Rufai Oseni.
He suggested that Oseni often comes across as critical of him during interviews on the station’s Morning Show.
Oshiomhole made the comment while responding to questions during his appearance on the programme.
“You fight me every day. I watch you. And you do one-sided punching and I’m like, one day, we will see,” he said during the exchange with Oseni.
During the interview, the former Edo State governor also addressed his recent disagreement with Senate President Godswill Akpabio over controversies surrounding amendments to the Senate Standing Orders.
He recalled that he had earlier criticised the handling of the amendment process, stressing that lawmakers should be fully involved in decisions affecting Senate procedures and internal operations.
