NEWLY ELECTED ONDO VARSITY STUDENTS’ UNION PRESIDENT APPOINTS 40 SPECIAL ADVISERS

The newly elected President of the Adekunle Ajasin University Students’ Union, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Folagbade Greatness Ayoola, popularly known as “Greatness of AAUASU,” has appointed about 40 aides and special advisers just days after assuming office.

In a memo issued from the Office of the Students’ Union President and obtained on Wednesday, the AAUASU leadership announced appointments into various roles, including Chief of Staff, personal assistants, directors, and special advisers.

According to the memo, the appointments were made to promote efficient administration within the students’ union, ensuring what it described as “top-notch administration and proper effectiveness of the AAUASU presidency.”

It also stated that all appointees were carefully screened and considered suitable for their respective roles.

Among those appointed are Olayinka Oluwaferanmi Emmanuel as Chief of Staff and Oluwafemi Olalekan Israel as Deputy Chief of Staff.

Other appointments include Omotunwase Success Ayomide as Senior Personal Assistant to the President, Obagaye Micheal as Personal Assistant II, Olaleye Kausara as Secretary to the President, and Ajileye Henry Olawale as Chief Press Secretary.

The administration also established several directorates, such as Protocol, Media and Publicity, Travels and Exchange, Gender, Photography and Videography, and Housing, Agents and Accommodation.

A large portion of the appointments were also allocated to special adviser roles.

The memo further listed advisers covering areas such as Strategy, Special Duties, Logistics, Academic Affairs, Christianity and Spiritual Matters, Union Projects, Health Services, Social Media Engagement, Female Sensitisation and Women Affairs, Associations and Mobility, Campus Transportation, Sports and Recreation, External Affairs, Sanitation, Presidential Movements and Physical Fitness, Documentation, Graphics and Content Creation, Budgeting and Finance, Law and Constitutional Matters, Students’ Welfare, Islamic Affairs, Political Affairs, Fundraising and Sponsorship, ICT, and Security Affairs.

Ayoola also announced security-related appointments, including ADC 1 (IPCC), while ADC 2 (Man O’ War) and ADC 3 (Cadet Corps) positions are yet to be filled.
