GUNMEN INVADE RURAL COMMUNITIES IN KATSINA, DISPLACE RESIDENTS, CART AWAY LIVESTOCK

Armed bandits have attacked rural communities on the western outskirts of Musawa town in Musawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, forcing residents to flee while rustling a large number of cattle.
The incident was disclosed by northern security analyst Bakatsine in posts shared on X on Sunday.
According to him, the attack displaced several women and children, leaving many stranded in Musawa town without shelter, food or basic assistance amid ongoing rainfall and harsh conditions.
Humanitarian assistance is urgently needed for the affected families. Security agencies must also intensify operations and provide immediate intervention to protect communities across Musawa LGA and surrounding areas,” he wrote on X.
He also expressed hope that peace and security will return to the affected communities and Nigeria as a whole.
