POLICE ARREST SIX SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS TERRORISING FCT, NIGER

The police have arrested six suspected kidnappers allegedly linked to a series of abductions in the Kubwa and Bwari areas of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as well as parts of Niger State.
Niger State Commissioner of Police, Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, disclosed that the suspects were apprehended by police operatives in Kpakungu, a suburb of Minna, the state capital.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, Elleman said the suspects confessed during interrogation to carrying out kidnapping operations in Bwari, Kubwa and several communities in Niger State.
“The suspects confessed during interrogation to kidnapping residents in Bwari, Kubwa and parts of Niger State,” the commissioner said.
He added that further details of the operation would be made public after the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
