APC LEADER PAYS TRIBUTE TO SOLDIERS, EMPHASIZING THE REALITY OF THEIR SACRIFICE ON REMEMBRANCE DAY

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has paid tribute to members of Nigeria’s Armed Forces who lost their lives in the line of duty, describing their sacrifice as the foundation of the nation’s unity, democracy, and progress.

In a statement on X, Yilwatda emphasized that the fallen soldiers gave their lives to ensure that Nigeria remains united, safe, and free. He highlighted the deeply personal nature of their sacrifice, noting that many left behind families, aspirations, and futures in service to the country.

The APC chairman honored those who died on the battlefield, during peacekeeping missions, and in ongoing efforts to safeguard Nigeria’s sovereignty, stressing that their courage continues to inspire the nation’s pursuit of peace and stability.

 Yilwatda also expressed solidarity with wounded soldiers, veterans bearing the scars of service, and families of fallen heroes, acknowledging both their pride and grief.

He called on Nigerians to remember that the country’s democracy, unity, and progress are anchored in the selflessness and bravery of its military personnel. “Their sacrifices reflect duty, commitment, and love for country,” he stated.

Concluding his tribute, Yilwatda prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed heroes and urged citizens to let their memories inspire greater patriotism, unity, and dedication to building a stronger, more secure nation.
