ATIKU, DAVID MARK ARRIVE OSUN FOR ADC FINAL RALLY AHEAD OF GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION

The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar, has travelled from Abuja to Osun State to attend the party’s final campaign rally ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
Atiku departed Abuja alongside ADC National Leader, David Mark, as the party stepped up its campaign activities ahead of Saturday’s poll.
The Osun State governorship election is scheduled for August 15, with major contenders including Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress and Najeem Salam of the African Democratic Congress.
Salam, the ADC governorship candidate, previously served as Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015 and was re-elected in 2017, remaining in the position until 2019.
