Nigerian music star, Davido, has stirred reactions online after sharing a humorous yet thought-provoking message about helping others.
The singer, reflecting on the unpredictable nature of life, noted that acts of kindness can sometimes lead to unexpected outcomes.
Davido said, “In life, you never know where your kindness can take you. It can either take you up or down.”
However, rather than ending on a conventional motivational note, the award-winning artiste added a humorous warning.
He said, “That is why when you help people, always keep receipts. Don’t play with me.”
The comment, delivered in Davido’s characteristic humorous style, has sparked discussions online, with several users agreeing that although helping others is commendable, keeping records of such gestures can help prevent future misunderstandings or disputes.
