FOUR ADULTS, 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER UK NEWBORN’S DEATH

Four adults and a 15-year-old girl have been charged following the death of a newborn baby in Sheffield, United Kingdom.

The baby girl was discovered at a house on Holywell Heights in the Wincobank area on Sunday morning after police received a report raising concerns about her safety.

According to the BBC, two men aged 19 and 38 and two women aged 20 and 37 have been charged with murder, causing or allowing the death of a child, and perverting the course of justice.

The charges relate to allegations that the suspects took steps to conceal the death of the infant.

The 15-year-old girl has separately been charged with perverting the course of justice. She cannot be identified due to her age.

The five suspects have been remanded in custody and are expected to appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.

Those charged are Peter Horvath, 19, Andrea Skopova, 20, Nina Horvathova, 37, Peter Horvath, 38, and the unnamed 15-year-old girl.

Police said investigations are ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding the newborn’s death.
