OGUN APC ORDERS LG CONGRESS TO COMMENCE AT 12 NOON

The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has directed that the local government congress scheduled for today, Saturday, must commence at exactly 12 noon.
The party stressed that the directive is mandatory for all local government areas, noting that it is intended to promote effective coordination, uniformity, and transparency in the conduct of the exercise statewide.
The directive was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Femi Nuberu, and made available to journalists.
According to Nuberu, the party leadership has expressly instructed that no local government should begin the congress ahead of the stipulated time.
“As we proceed to the Local Government Congress scheduled to hold today, 21st of February, 2026, the party leadership hereby directs that no Local Government should commence the exercise earlier than 12:00 noon,” he said.
The party emphasized that the directive must be strictly observed by all stakeholders, noting that it is designed to guarantee effective coordination, uniformity, and transparency in the conduct of the congress across all local government areas.
