OSUN APC CANDIDATE OYEBAMIJI CASTS VOTE, EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE IN VICTORY

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has cast his vote in the ongoing governorship election, expressing confidence in emerging victorious.

Oyebamiji voted at Ward 09, Unit 011, in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area, at about 10:42 a.m. on Saturday.

His arrival at the polling unit was greeted with cheers from a large crowd of voters waiting in the queue.

Speaking with journalists after casting his ballot, the APC candidate said the election had been peaceful so far based on reports reaching him from across the state.

“From the reports I have gotten so far, everywhere is peaceful, and we hope it will continue like this,” he said.

Oyebamiji expressed optimism about his chances, saying, “I expect that I am going to have the victory at the end of the day.”

He also commended the presence of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission and security agencies at his polling unit, saying the voting process had remained peaceful and orderly.

“The INEC officials, security agencies and voters are present, and everything is under control,” he added.
