Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been eliminated from the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) following a 1-0 defeat to Cameroon in the quarter-finals.
The defending champions were unable to find an equaliser as Cameroon held on to secure a place in the semi-finals.
The result brings Nigeria’s title defence to an end and marks a disappointing quarter-final exit for the nine-time African champions.
