Sir Shina Peters: Playing Guitar is too spiritual for me
Sir Shina Peters is no doubt a legend of Afro – juju music genre. He is the originator of the genre and his music is still very relevant in recent time.
In an interview with Ynaija, the legend said he stopped playing guitar because it is too spiritual.
In his words, ” music is spiritual but some people don’t tap the spirituality of music. There was a time I was playing the guitar around 12.am, I saw like thousands of white garment people and I would love to follow them but I got out of the trance. So I said I wouldn’t play the guitar again because playing the guitar is too spiritual for me. ”
