CHELSEA TEENAGE SENSATION IKE UGBO HINTS AT DUMPING ENGLAND FOR NIGERIA

England could be on the verge of losing one of their youth
international to Nigeria following moves by Nigeria to lure talented
forward Ike Ugbo to switch allegiance to them.
Already Manchester United fast rising midfielder Tosin Kehinde has
committed his future to Nigeria, and even met with coach Gernot Rohr
before the Super Eagles game against Serbia in London.
According to reports, Kehinde wasn’t the only Anglo-Nigerian who had a chat with officials of the Nigerian team as Ike Ugbo, widely viewed by
many as one of the brightest prospect in the Chelsea youth set up also
met with officials of the Nigeria Football Federation during the week.
It is believed that productive talks were held with the 19 year old
forward, who scored a total of 63 goals in 102 appearances for Chelsea
at U-18, U-19 and U23 level.
His form lead to a new improved contract at Chelsea, and it will see
him remain at Stamford Bridge till the summer of 2021. A sign of how
well they view him as a part of the future of the club.
Presently out on loan to League one side MK Don, 19-year-old  Ugbo, who spent the second half of last season on loan to Barnsley has
represented England at U-17 and 20 level.
