POLITICS NOT A DO OR DIE AFFAIR – AKIM YUSUF

The Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Oyo State, Mr. Akim Yusuf mni has admonished politicians in the State to see politics as call to service and not a “do-or-die affair”.
Speaking over the weekend at a symposium on “The Role of Islam and Good Governance” organized by the Jamaatul Taawunil Islamiyat, Oyo State Chapter, Yusuf also advised leaders to dispense their responsibilities to the citizenry with the principles of fairness, equity and justice as mandated by the Holy Qur’an.
He stated further that only visionary leadership with integrity will facilitate good governance.
