A once-respected crocodile expert was sentenced to over ten years in prison in Australia on Thursday for sexually torturing and killing dozens of pets, among other crimes.

Adam Britton, 53, pleaded guilty to 63 offences, including bestiality, animal cruelty, and having child abuse material.

Northern Territory Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael Grant condemned Britton’s actions as “unspeakable” and “grotesque” when he sentenced him on Thursday.

According to ABC, Britton purchased 42 dogs online between 2020 and 2022, promising their owners that he would give them a “good home.”.

Instead, the ABC reported that Britton recorded himself raping and killing pets in a shipping container on his Darwin farm.

The footage was then shared on Telegram.

Brian was arrested in 2022.

Britton, born in the United Kingdom, was a well-known crocodile specialist in Australia, having worked on several BBC and National Geographic programs.

He will be eligible for parole in April 2028, and he is prohibited from possessing mammals for the rest of his lifetime.
