FG, STATES, LGs SHARE N1.818 TRILLION JUNE 2025 REVENUE — FAAC

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has disbursed a total of ₦1.818 trillion to the federal, state, and local governments as federation allocation for June 2025, from a gross revenue of ₦4.232 trillion.
The allocation was announced during FAAC’s July 2025 meeting, chaired by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun.
The disbursed amount includes revenues from Statutory Revenue, Value Added Tax (VAT), Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), Exchange Difference, and a ₦100 billion augmentation from non-mineral revenue. The breakdown is as follows:

Federal Government: ₦645.383 billion

State Governments: ₦607.417 billion

Local Government Councils: ₦444.853 billion

Oil Producing States (13% derivation): ₦120.759 billion
An additional ₦162.786 billion was set aside as cost of collection, and ₦2.251 trillion was allocated for transfers, interventions, and refunds.
According to the FAAC communique, gross VAT revenue for June stood at ₦678.165 billion, a decrease of ₦64.655 billion from the previous month’s ₦742.820 billion.
Of this, ₦27.127 billion went to cost of collection, and ₦19.531 billion to transfers and refunds. The remaining ₦631.507 billion was distributed as follows:

LGs: ₦221.027 billion
For statutory revenue, ₦3.385 trillion was generated — an increase of ₦1.390 trillion from the previous month’s ₦2.094 trillion.
After deducting ₦134.444 billion for collection costs and ₦2.231 trillion for transfers and refunds, the balance of ₦1.018 trillion was shared as follows:

During the meeting, Minister Wale Edun expressed condolences over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as a national loss.
He praised FAAC members for their commitment to realizing the Tinubu administration’s economic reform goals.
