WIFE OF KADUNA NUJ CHAIRMAN, HAJARA ALABELEWE, DIES

Mrs. Hajara Alabelewe, wife of the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna State Council, Alhaji Abdulgafar Alabelewe, has passed away.
She died in the early hours of Sunday around 1am at a hospital in Kaduna after a brief illness. Confirming the incident, the NUJ chairman said his wife’s death was due to malaria.
Until her death, Mrs. Alabelewe was a staff member of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Kaduna.
According to the family, Janaza (funeral) prayers will be held at 2pm on Sunday at Ansarul Islam Juma’at Mosque, Abakpa, near Lugard Roundabout, Kaduna.
