Arsenal Women have been named the 2025 Women’s Club of the Year at the prestigious Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on Monday night.

The recognition comes after a landmark season for the Gunners, highlighted by their UEFA Women’s Champions League triumph, where they defeated Barcelona 1-0 in the final in Lisbon. Stina Blackstenius scored the decisive goal to seal Arsenal’s second European crown.

Domestically, the North London side also enjoyed a strong campaign, finishing second in the Women’s Super League and advancing to the semi-finals of the League Cup.

The award, which honours both competitive achievements and contributions to the wider growth of women’s football, acknowledged Arsenal’s robust development structure, global recognition, and fan engagement.

This latest honour cements the club’s reputation as one of the leading forces in women’s football both on and off the pitch.
