Fatima Atiku Abubakar, first daughter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The former Adamawa State Commissioner of Health was formally received into the party in Abuja on Monday.
The medical professional-turned-politician registered and collected her party membership card at her ward in the Wuse district of the nation’s capital.
The FCT Chairman of the ADC, Chief Clement Oba Ehigiator, alongside the AMAC chairman and other party stakeholders, were present to welcome her.
Fatima Atiku Abubakar expressed enthusiasm about joining the party, which hosts a coalition of opposition leaders strategizing to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
