POPULAR FUJI MUSICIAN SAHEED OSUPA ADDRESSES DEATH PROPHECY

Legendary Fuji musician, Saheed Osupa, has responded to a death prophecy allegedly made about him by a Nigerian Islamic cleric.
Controversial Muslim cleric, popularly known as Alfa Olopa Meta, had claimed that the singer would die on January 10, 2026. The cleric, who said he had prayed on Osupa’s behalf, reportedly advised the musician to purchase a large ram for special prayers.
Reacting to the claim during a live performance on Sunday, January 11, 2026, Osupa dismissed the prophecy, describing it as false and malicious.
“Fake alpha and prophet, please don’t wish me dead. Anyone who wishes me dead will die in my place,” the Fuji star said.
He further warned those he described as enemies—both known and unknown—to desist from making such pronouncements.
“Close enemies, unknown enemies, enemies of my career, and those around me should stop wishing me dead. Anyone who does so will die before me,” Osupa added.
