KWAM1’S DAUGHTER QUASHES RUMOURS LINKING HER TO ASAKE

Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM1, has dismissed rumours suggesting she is romantically involved with singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake.
The speculation arose after Dami posted a photo with Asake at an event, captioned “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” which sparked online chatter and blog posts claiming the two were in a relationship.
On Sunday, Dami took to Instagram to clarify the situation, explaining that the photo was taken during her first meeting with the singer. She wrote:
“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs; they can do anything for traffic. And I am not a media personality, I am a legal practitioner, currently serving as SSA to Mr Gov… Address me well next time.”

Asake, who has largely kept his personal life private, has not been publicly linked to any romantic partner since his reported breakup with Gambian girlfriend Madame Mystique in 2014.
Over the years, Asake has occasionally been in the news for personal matters. In 2025, a public dispute with his baby mama, Adijat, and his father, Fatai Odunsi, drew attention. Reports claimed that he had initially neglected his father and daughter but later reconciled, pledging to cover his father’s medical bills and providing a new home. Photos and videos shared online later captured Asake tenderly reuniting with his daughter and family, suggesting a fresh start for the singer and his loved ones.
