The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, today participated in the Lateef Jakande Leadership Summit 2026, themed “Building Systems That Outlive Us,” held at Konga Place, Lekki.
Mr. Aregbe joined His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin.
Also present were the Deputy Speaker of Lagos State, Hon. Princess Mojisola Miranda; Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro; Lagos State Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde; the Attorney-General & Commissioner for Justice; Permanent Secretaries, EXCO members, and other distinguished stakeholders and guest speakers.
The summit explored how institutions, policies, and leadership practices can be intentionally designed for longevity, resilience, and lasting intergenerational impact within Nigeria’s evolving socio-economic landscape.
This engagement underscores the Sanwo-Olu administration’s commitment to embedding tourism as a strategic pillar and a youth-driven engine for innovation, entrepreneurship, and soft power diplomacy – positioning Lagos as Africa’s creative capital while building human capital that transcends administrations.
