TROOPS REPEL SUSPECTED TERRORISTS’ ATTACK IN KADUNA

troops under sector 1 of operation fansan yamma have successfully repelled a suspected terrorist attack in chikun local government area of kaduna state.
the development was disclosed in a post shared on x on thursday by security analyst zagazola makama.
according to the report, the incident occurred on april 29 at about 4:30 p.m. in jarhawa village, when suspected terrorists attacked civilians in the area.
security sources said troops at the forward operating base in sabon birni responded promptly after receiving a distress call about the attack.
the soldiers were said to have moved quickly to the location, forcing the attackers to flee upon noticing the approaching troops.
one civilian who sustained gunshot injuries was later discovered and immediately received medical attention, according to the report.
makama further stated that the area has since been secured by troops, while efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects and prevent further attacks in the community.
