POLICE ARREST TWO WOMEN OVER CHILD TRAFFICKING IN ADAMAWA

The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended two women suspected of child trafficking and successfully rescued three teenage girls in Yola.
The Command’s spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, provided the details in a statement on Wednesday.
Nguroje explained that officers from the State Intelligence Department acted on credible information to intercept the minors at Adamawa Sunshine Motor Park on February 17, 2026.
He stated, “On 17th February, 2026, operatives of the Command attached to the State Intelligence Department (SID), acting on credible intelligence, intercepted three teenagers at Adamawa Sunshine Motor Park. The teenagers were identified as Naomi Linus (14 years), Agnes Thomas (16 years), and Patience Justine (15 years).”
