PRES TINUBU APPOINTS UBA SANI AS RENEWED HOPE AMBASSADOR AND DEPUTY DIRECTOR-GENERAL

Abuja – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for party outreach, engagement, and mobilisation, a role aimed at strengthening public support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced on Tuesday through a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

In his capacity as leader of the APC, President Tinubu said the appointment was based on Governor Sani’s “salient leadership and organisational abilities.” Under the new role, Sani is expected to work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador initiative and the party hierarchy, including the APC National Chairman, to ensure inclusiveness, strategic coordination, and effective mobilisation across all levels of the party.

The Kaduna governor will be responsible for promoting the party’s programmes, policies, achievements, and milestones, strengthening public confidence and reinforcing the Renewed Hope message nationwide.

“The overall objective of your appointment is to ensure that the entire citizenry is aware of, understands, and ultimately supports our party and its candidates at all levels for broad national acceptance in the 2027 election,” President Tinubu wrote in a letter conveying the appointment.

The President stressed that preparation and strategic leadership are critical to achieving widespread public engagement and support. He expressed confidence that Governor Sani’s experience in governance and political coordination would enhance the APC’s engagement framework and consolidate the Renewed Hope narrative across the country.

The appointment signals a renewed focus on outreach and mobilisation as the APC positions itself for the upcoming electoral contests.
