BALA MOHAMMED TELLS APC TO BE CAUTIOUS, CITES PDP COLLAPSE AFTER CONSULTATION WITH TINUBU

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to exercise caution to avoid a breakdown similar to that experienced by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking to journalists after a private meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Mohammed warned that the APC must “watch its back” following its primary elections to prevent a collapse akin to the PDP’s.
The governor, who has previously clashed with the FCT Minister over leadership issues within the PDP, emphasized that he does not feel isolated in his party.
He stated:
“The APC will need to watch their backs after the primaries, as they are expanding, much like the PDP. The PDP grew and eventually exploded, not imploded. I do not feel lonely because I understand my state, and my goal is to observe how elections are won at the polling booth. Elections are won locally, not nationally.”
