EPL: ARSENAL FEEL THE PRESSURE AS SHEARER PICKS HIS TITLE WINNERS

Former Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer has said it is only natural for Arsenal to feel nervous amid the Premier League title race.
The Gunners edged past Chelsea with a narrow 2-1 victory at the Emirates on Sunday.
Shearer acknowledged that Mikel Arteta’s side were far from their best and depended heavily on set-pieces to secure the win.
However, he stressed that the key thing is for them to continue collecting points and remain in front of Manchester City.
Speaking on The Rest Is Football, Alan Shearer said:
“They managed to get the job done against Chelsea. They weren’t at their best, but once again their set-pieces proved decisive, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
“They’re bound to feel nervous and on edge given the pressure they’re facing.
“They’re only human — I’ve experienced it myself. Competing at that level is a massive challenge. It takes a toll on you mentally and physically. It’s exhausting.”
