PHOTOS: TINUBU RECEIVES SULTAN OF SOKOTO IN ABUJA

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, State House, Abuja.
The visit was confirmed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga shared the announcement on X, along with official photographs of the meeting, writing: “Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III visited President Tinubu at the State House Abuja on Sunday, March 15.”

President Bola Tinubu and the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III are considered Nigeria’s highest political and spiritual leaders, respectively.
The Sultan serves as the country’s foremost traditional and religious leader for Muslims.
