In a statement issued on Friday via its X (formerly Twitter) handle, the examination body announced that candidates who sat for the examination would be able to access their results within 12 hours of the release.
WAEC said the swift release underscores its commitment to improving service delivery through the adoption of technology and more efficient examination processes.
“The result of CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026–First Series has been released. Candidates can access their results within the next 12 hours,” the council stated, while also expressing appreciation to stakeholders for their support in ensuring a smooth conduct of the examination.
The CB-WASSCE, conducted specifically for private candidates, forms part of WAEC’s broader efforts to modernise its examination system and enhance the overall experience through computer-based testing.
Candidates have been advised to check their results through WAEC’s official platforms as they become available.
