Tüzemen has called on Icardi to step up as Galatasaray’s main goalscorer during Victor Osimhen’s absence.
Osimhen is currently sidelined while recovering from a hand injury sustained in Galatasaray’s recent Champions League match against Liverpool.

“Icardi must do more than just contribute; he needs to take on the full responsibility of leading Galatasaray’s attack in Osimhen’s absence,” Tüzemen told Habersarikirmizi.
He added, “I want to stress that Icardi owes a debt of gratitude to Okan Buruk and President Dursun Özbek, who have supported him through every family issue. He should make amends with his teammates, the president, and the coach, and return to Galatasaray as the team’s leading scorer. Additionally, the club should hold his agent accountable for his actions.”
