ADC SUPPORT GROUP SPARKS REACTIONS AFTER ADVERTISING N750M ABUJA PROPERTY ON X

ADC Vanguard, a support group affiliated with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has stirred reactions online after advertising a residential property for sale on its X account.
In the post shared on Tuesday, the group announced the sale of a five-bedroom residential building located within the Apo Legislative Quarters in Abuja, valued at N750 million.
The post surprised many followers, as the account had built a large audience by sharing political updates and content related to ADC activities.
The unusual listing triggered mixed reactions from social media users, with many questioning the appropriateness of using a political support platform for real estate promotion.
Some of the reactions included:
“Hustle o…. In case your ticket cut….🤣🤣🤣🤣 https://t.co/lf0ZIvn3aI”
“Bro forgot to switch handle 🤣 https://t.co/FngnADPx0i”
“Bro, you’re confused. It’s not your burner account oo😭 https://t.co/SdI6C8DrnT”
In a related development, former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai had, in August 2025, cautioned the group against attributing fabricated statements to him.
“Dear ADC Vanguard, please stop fabricating statements and attributing them to me. I have my own social media accounts where I can share my views and opinions,” el-Rufai said.
“I am going to disown the statements you created and attributed, not because I necessarily disagree with the message but because I never made them. That is not the honest way to represent our party or gain traction. Please stop it forthwith.”
ADC Vanguard had, in a now-deleted post, attributed negative remarks about the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to el-Rufai.
Meanwhile, on April 1, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) derecognised factions of the ADC led by David Mark and Nafiu Bala, citing a March 12 Court of Appeal ruling on the party’s leadership crisis.
The Mark-led faction has since rejected the decision of the electoral body.
