REDEPLOYED INEC REC ASSUMES OFFICE IN ONDO

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ondo State announces the assumption of duty of a new Hon. Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Mutiu Olaleke Agboke today Monday, 20th April, 2026.
Dr. Agboke, a seasoned legal scholar and election management expert from Abeokuta, Ogun State was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006 and has served as a member of the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) between 2012 and 2016.
He has equally served as REC in Ondo, Oyo and Osun States, where he supervised the 2019 and 2023 General Elections. He is known for integrity, transparency and professionalism.
The Commission expresses confidence in his ability to strengthen electoral integrity and deliver credible, free and fair elections in Ondo State.
