RABIU KWANKWASO HOLDS CLOSED-DOOR TALKS WITH NDC OFFICIALS

Former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has reportedly held a closed-door meeting with the National Deputy Chairman of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Muhammad Rabiu Sabo Bakin.
Bakin paid Kwankwaso a courtesy visit alongside the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ibrahim Ahmad Waya.

Sources indicated that the meeting was aimed at persuading the former Kano State governor to leave the African Democratic Congress and join the Nigerian Democratic Congress.
During the discussion, Bakin reportedly advised Kwankwaso against remaining in the ADC, citing the party’s ongoing leadership crisis. He also stated that the NDC is ready to welcome Kwankwaso and his supporters, with assurances of accommodating them in key positions within the party.
