2027: YOUTHS RAISE N50M TO PURCHASE GOMBE GOVERNORSHIP FORM FOR PANTAMI

A group of youths has purchased the N50 million governorship nomination form for former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Ali Isa Ibrahim Pantami, ahead of the 2027 Gombe State governorship election.
The youths, who said they jointly raised the funds, presented the form as a demonstration of their support for Pantami’s potential entry into the race.
Representatives of the group said the gesture reflects their confidence in his leadership qualities and record in public service.
Although Prof. Pantami has not officially declared his intention to contest, the development has heightened political speculation about his plans ahead of the 2027 elections.
The N50 million nomination form is a mandatory requirement for aspirants seeking governorship tickets under major political parties in the state.
