A dramatic scene unfolded during a Redeemed Christian Church of God service when a woman entered the church, seized the microphone, and publicly accused the pastor of r*ping her and demanding sexual acts from her.
In response, the pastor reportedly denied the allegation, insisting that the relationship between them was consensual.
The incident reportedly took place at a Redeemed Christian Church of God parish near LAUTECH in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. The woman claimed she had been invited to the pastor’s residence to deliver food, but alleged that he made unwanted sexual advances despite her resistance.

Pastor Sobowale, who was present, denied the accusation of rape, maintaining that any interaction between them was consensual. Screenshots of WhatsApp conversations circulating online reportedly show the woman confronting him over earlier demands, with the pastor allegedly offering an apology.
During the service, other women also reportedly came forward with similar allegations, although these claims have not been independently verified. As of Monday, there were no official police reports or a statement from the church regarding the incident.
