The Ghanaian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied authorship of a travel advisory warning against non-essential travel to the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
In a statement, the Ministry said that “It is not aware of any threat targeted against Ghanaians who continue to live in harmony with their Nigerian brothers and sisters”.

On Wednesday, a certain section of the press had published news suggesting that the Ghana Foreign Affairs Ministry had warned Ghanaians against making non-essential trips to Abuja over a perceived security threat.
