POLICE ARREST ONE GANG MEMBER IN LAGOS FOR ROBBERY, OTHERS ON THE RUN

On Saturday, 10th of December , the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) officials apprehended one Jason Joseph (19), a member of a three-man gang operating in Otedola Bridge between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
After a week ago, the owner of a Mercedes Benz, 4Matic, GL 450 was forced to abandon his car under the Otedola Bridge by assailants at around 10:00 p.m., Commander RRS, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi ordered a team covering the area to arrest all the criminals in the area.
Jason was apprehended after one of his gang’s victims spotted him in the area at 5:00 a.m. and alerted the RRS team.
He has repeatedly admitted to the police that he operated in Otedola Bridge from 9:00 p.m. until dawn with three other suspects who live in Oshodi. The gang, he said, used dagger and jack knife to rob in traffic.
He continued by saying that the gang was formed shortly after #EndSAR and has been involved in numerous robberies in the area.
He is cooperating with the police to arrest his gang members.
