HEARTLAND FC FELICITATE WITH GOV UZODINMA AFTER RE-ELECTION IN IMO
The management of the five-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Heartland FC has congratulated Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma on his electoral success at the Gubernatorial polls held on Saturday November 11th, 2023.
Governor Uzodinma swept the poll as announced by the state Returning Officer for the election, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, who is also the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, on Sunday morning at INEC’s state collation centre in Owerri, the state capital.
He declared Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the election with 540,308 beating all his opponents in a landslide victory winning in all the 27 Local Government Areas of the state in grand style.
The Heartland Management in a congratulatory message signed by the club’s General Manager, Promise Nwachukwu extolled the good virtues of Governor Uzodinma for his brilliant performance during his yet to be completed first term in office and states that everyone at Heartland FC is happy with his victory at the election and wishes him a good second term stint in office in good health, long life and prosperity accompanied with more wisdom to lead Ndi Imo.
Nwachukwu stressed that Heartland FC will continue to propagate his good deeds and continues to be identified and align with the 3R vision of his administration.
He assures that they will strive to go for their first win of the season on Wednesday against Bayelsa United and dedicate it to his electoral victory.
“We at Heartland FC are happy with the electoral victory of our hard working and achieving Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma and on behalf of the management, players, technical crew and others at Heartland FC, we appreciate God for giving you the privilege to win the election again,” Nwachukwu told Heartland FC Media.
“The win was so massive which goes to show his overall acceptance by Ndi Imo because of his qualitative representation and massive infrastructural development. In sports too, especially with Heartland FC, you have shown you have the capacity to match your words with action and we pray that God will lead you through your second tenure in office successfully.
“We are going into Wednesday’s game with the determination to secure our first win of the season and dedicate it toward your election victory. We will continue to align and be identified with your progressives, forward looking leadership and vision of our great state and Ndi Imo in general.”
