DSS TO UNVEIL WEAPONS PRODUCED BY ITS PERSONNEL SOON – BICHI
On Saturday, the Department of State Services (DSS) said that it will soon be revealing weapons made by its employees.
At the 16th Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) graduation ceremony in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, DSS Director General Yusuf Bichi revealed this.
He claims that the DSS will soon start to “eat what it produces and produce what it eats.”
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are one of the weapons the Secret Service is about to reveal, he said.
Bichi further pledged that the organisation will keep helping the National Institute for Security Studies fulfil its mission of disseminating information that will improve national security.
He exhorted Nigerians to stay patriotic and avoid those he characterised as warmongers who wish to destroy the nation, and he challenged the participants to use the skills they had learned to advance the nation.
Senator Kashim Shettima, the vice president, is also present for the function.
In February 2023, 89 participants from 35 agencies in Nigeria and four other African nations—Niger, the Gambia, Rwanda, and Chad—started the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC).
There were 86 people who graduated on Saturday after three competitors lost their lives over the period.
