
LAGOS MAN ALLEGEDLY KILLS YOUNGER BROTHER DURING FIGHT
The Police in Lagos have arrested a man who allegedly killed his younger brother during a fight in the new Iba area of Lagos State.
The cause of the fight was unknown as of the time of writing this report. However, the Police said the tragedy occurred on Friday.
Spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hudenyin, who confirmed the incident, explained that it was reported at the Iba Police Division on August 24, 2024.
He said a resident reported “that on August 23, 2024, at about 11 pm, one Ayodeji Busari of Iba Lagos, pushed his 47-year-old younger brother during a fight, causing him to hit his head on the pavement.
His younger brother came from Port-Harcourt, Rivers State to visit his friend.
“The victim became unconscious and was rushed to Igando General Hospital for treatment but was later confirmed dead by the Medical Doctor on duty.
“The scene of the crime was visited, photographs of the corpse were taken, and the corpse was removed and deposited at Mainland General Hospital Mortuary, Yaba, for autopsy.
“The case file of the suspect will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID Yaba, for an in-depth investigation.”he said.
