BREAKING: SOWORE PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO CYBERCRIME CHARGES
Activist and politician, Omoyele Sowore, has denied the cybercrime charges leveled against him at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The charges were brought by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, following Sowore’s comment calling him an “illegal IGP,” made on his verified X handle.
Sowore is currently facing trial before Justice Liman of the FCT High Court, where he appeared around 10:00 am for the reading of the charges.
Upon hearing the charges, Sowore pleaded not guilty to all of them.
Meanwhile, a number of his supporters staged a protest outside the court in response to his arraignment.
