Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside his wife, First Lady Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and other top dignitaries, attended the funeral service of Dr. Sunny Ajose on Friday, February 7, 2025, at De Blue Roof, Agidingbi, Ikeja.
The solemn event drew a distinguished gathering, including former Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda, as well as members of the Lagos State Executive Council, lawmakers, and other prominent figures from the political and business sectors.
In his tribute, Governor Sanwo-Olu described Dr. Sunny Ajose as a dedicated public servant, an exemplary leader, and a man whose contributions to the development of Lagos State will never be forgotten.
He highlighted Ajose’s role in shaping policies that advanced governance and service delivery in the state.
Similarly, Babatunde Fashola, in his remarks, praised the late Ajose for his unwavering commitment to Lagos, emphasizing that his legacy would continue to inspire generations. Other dignitaries also took turns to share fond memories and pay their respects.
