
NECO ALERTS PUBLIC ABOUT FAKE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT POSING AS REGISTRAR

The National Examinations Council has officially rejected a fake Facebook account created using the name of its Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi.
The account is reportedly being used to scam unsuspecting members of the public.
This information was revealed in a statement provided to journalists in Abuja on Sunday by the Council’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Azeez Sani.
“The Council wishes to alert the public to the existence of this fake Facebook account to prevent individuals from falling victim to these fraudsters,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sani confirmed that security agencies have been notified and appropriate action will be taken against those responsible for this fraudulent activity.
