Former U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have publicly responded to persistent divorce rumors. Speculation about trouble in their 32-year marriage intensified after Michelle made several pointed remarks about Barack in past interviews. The couple opened up during an episode of Craig Robinson’s podcast, candidly discussing the challenges they’ve faced in their relationship.
During an episode of Craig Robinson’s podcast, the couple humorously addressed the public’s rumors about their marriage. Michelle remarked, “When we’re not together, people assume we’re divorced.”
“I don’t even know this stuff’s going on.” Michelle Obama emphasised the strength of their marriage, stating:
“There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I’ve thought about quitting on my man.
She acknowledged the challenges and joys they’ve experienced together, saying, “We’ve gone through some tough moments as well as many joyful adventures, and I’ve grown into a better person thanks to the man I’m married to.”
This isn’t the first time the Obamas have addressed the rumours. Michelle previously mentioned on NPR’s Wild Card podcast that the public wouldn’t be aware of their every move, and the lack of visibility into their relationship sparks speculation. Barack and Michelle have been married since 1992 and have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
