DAVIDO TOPS SPOTIFY’S LIST OF NIGERIA’S TOP 30 SONGS IN FIRST HALF 2025

Streaming giant Spotify has revealed the top 30 Nigerian songs with the highest global streams in the first half of 2025.
The list includes tracks by Nigerian artists as well as songs featuring Nigerian artists that garnered the most streams outside Nigeria.
Davido led the rankings with nine songs from his latest album, 5ive, making the list, followed by Burna Boy with five songs.
Rema claimed the top spot on the chart with ‘Baby (Is It A Crime)’, followed by Shallipopi’s ‘Laho’ in second place, and Davido’s ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay in third.
Chella’s ‘My Darling’ and Burna Boy’s ‘Tatata’ featuring Travis Scott secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
Rounding out the top 10 are Frenna and Shallipopi’s ‘Zazaza’, Coldplay’s ‘We Pray’ featuring Burna Boy, Burna Boy’s ‘Update’, Shallipopi’s ‘Laho II’ featuring Burna Boy, and Davido’s ‘Be There Still’.
