The Northern Senators Forum has disclosed the removal of that  Sen Abdullahi Adamu as its chairman over an alleged financial mismanagement involving a whopping N70 million naira.

This was made known on Wednesday immediately after plenary session by some members of the forum led by Sen Shehu Sani.

He explained that the money was handed over to him as chairman of the forum in the 8th senate by members of the 7th session of the  Northern Senators’ Forum.

National Assembly correspondent Folashade Abdulsalami reports that the Lawmaker further disclosed that the embattled out going chairman claimed that the money was raided and taken away by some monkeys in his farm in Nasarawa state.

It would be recalled that Sen Adamu had last week led nine other senators to criticize the amendment to the Electoral Act  protesting against the adoption of the report by the Senate and House of Representatives Joint Committee on the Amendment to the Electoral Act and till moment the embattled senator has not made any comment on the matter.
