NIGER GOVERNOR VOWS ONGOING SUPPORT FOR SECURITY AGENCIES AND OTHERS

The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has reassured security agencies and federal government institutions within the state of his administration’s unwavering commitment to enhancing security and ensuring improved service delivery.
This information was unveiled in a statement issued to PUNCH Online on Tuesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim.
Bago made this commitment during a courtesy visit from the heads of newly assigned security agencies and a federal establishment coordinator in the state.
The delegation comprised representatives from the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Federal Road Safety Corps, and the Niger State Coordinator of the National Identity Management Commission.
The governor underscored the significance of cooperation, encouraging the agencies to fortify their collaboration with the state government. The statement conveyed that he also urged the officials “to enhance their maintenance culture, as his administration has been implementing substantial measures to facilitate their operations and efficiency. ”

In their comments, the visiting officials praised the governor’s developmental initiatives. The statement quoted the Zonal Coordinator of NIS, Zone D, ACG Anthony Emeka Chikezie; the Comptroller of NIS, Niger State Command, Gado Ibrahim; the State Commandant of NSCDC, Suberu Siyaka Aniviye; the State Sector Commander of FRSC, Aishat Sa’ad; and the State Coordinator of NIMC, Aisha Yahaya Muhammad, who lauded “the developmental achievements of the proactive Governor in various economic sectors, which they affirmed has repositioned the State towards advancement. ”
They also recognized the support extended to federal agencies and institutions in the state and requested additional assistance, particularly regarding logistics to enhance their operations, while assuring “their unwavering support for his administration. ”
