Donald Trump, President of the United States Government, has said he is unsure of making heaven, even though he believes he has made life better for many people.

Trump made the remark during an interview with journalists at the White House, which was aired on Fox News on Monday.

During the session, journalist Peter Doocy referenced an earlier interview where Trump had said ending the war in Ukraine might “help him get into heaven.”

Doocy asked, “You had talked a couple of weeks ago, you were doing an interview, and you talked about how you hoped to end the war in Ukraine because it might help you get into heaven. How does this help? Does this help?”

Responding with a smile, Trump said, “I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven, OK? I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven.”

He, however, added that despite his doubts, he takes pride in the positive impact he believes he has had on people’s lives.

“But I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people,” he said.

Trump’s comment has since stirred reactions on social media. While some of his supporters dismissed it as humour characteristic of the president, critics described it as reflective of his self-perception and political tone.
