APC DISOWNS BELLO TURJI, CONFIRMS HE IS NOT A MEMBER

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially refuted a viral social media claim suggesting that notorious terror kingpin Mohammed Bello Turji is a registered party member.
Reacting on Tuesday, APC spokesman Felix Morka described the purported membership slip as a “vile fabrication” created by mischief-makers to mislead the public and tarnish the party’s image.
The party clarified that the document, allegedly issued during its ongoing Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise, has no connection to APC’s official membership database.
Morka highlighted several glaring inconsistencies in the document, exposing it as a crude forgery. Notably, the slip claimed Turji was registered in “Ward 13” of Shinkafi Local Government Area in Zamfara State, whereas official records show that the LGA has only 10 wards.
“All digital parameters represented on the fake slip bear no connection to our Party’s membership register,” the APC stated. “All other information paraded on the slip is nonexistent and certainly not contained in our membership database.”

The party attributed the circulation of the document to “mischief-makers” seeking to create confusion and sow discord for their own sinister purposes. It urged members of the public to disregard the “highly offensive” document, reaffirming that its registration process remains secure and insulated from criminal associations.
APC also called for vigilance against misinformation aimed at linking the party to individuals responsible for insecurity in the country.
